I'm really happy to go back to South-Africa this week. I’m especially fond of returning to Cape Town after all these years. I have been to Johannesburg more often, but Cape Town is a very beautiful city in an impressive as well as charming environment at the border of the ocean. I have stayed there once at a wine farm. This time of course I’ll have to do a lot of interviews to promote ‘Time to Swing’ and the concerts over there, although I have been doing interviews already by telephone for the concerts as such. The Cape Town and Johannesburg shows won’t be try-outs for the upcoming tour. South-Africa gets their own shows, so to speak. But, no doubt, South Africa will set my mind free to work on the fragile balance of the new repertoire for the tour. What will I sing? Do I want to tap dance? And will I need a completely different stage set-up? Sure, I have been playing around with some ideas already. But now it’s time to make decisions and start to swing. I hardly can’t wait.Lotti
